National Autism Association
We belong to NAA and consider it to be our preferred advocacy organization for autism. Their mission is to educate and empower families affected by autism, while advocating on behalf of those who cannot fight for their own rights. They also fund appropriate research into alleviating the neurological damage from which so many affected by autism suffer. Finally, they encourage those in the autism community to never give up in their search to help their loved ones reach their full potential. |

Surfer's Healing
Surfers Healing is a wonderful organization that offers free surf camps to children with autism on both coasts. Our son Gavin has been a participant every year since we received his diagnosis. It's a much anticipated event for our family! Also note that 10% of our proceeds go to Surfers Healing. |
